Why is Ringtons Your Way only available in Washington?

A lot of the delivery options available through Ringtons Your Way have never been tried before and we wanted to trial our brand-new service in an area which is similar to the communities we deliver to across the country. 

Washington was handpicked as it offers a fantastic, loyal customer base to launch our new service to.  After the trial in Washington we plan to roll the service out to other regions. 

 

Is Ringtons Your Way a subscription service and is there a minimum spend?

Yes, Ringtons Your Way allows customers to receive a pre-paid regular delivery of goods like a subscription service but also offers great flexibility.  It is easy to use and convenient, allowing customers to pause, add to or even cancel their deliveries to suit their needs. 

Any changes need to be made before midnight three working days before the next scheduled delivery date.  There’s no minimum delivery order value and delivery is always free. We will email you about upcoming orders.

 

What are my delivery options? 

Customers can choose from three free delivery options for their pre-paid goods:

  1. Drop off – we will deliver your goods direct to you or leave in an agreed safe place.
  2. Collection point – we will deliver to a nearby shop or address where you can collect your order when it suits you.
  3. Basket/doorstep delivery – one of our drivers will deliver direct to you and also show you any of our current seasonal products straight from our traditional basket.

 

How much is delivery?

Delivery is always free with drop off and doorstep deliveries only ever made by one of your local Ringtons representative.

 

Do I have to be in to get a Ringtons Your Way delivery?

No, just let us know your preferred safe place (e.g. with neighbour or leave in porch) when placing your order or you can collect your order from a local collection point to suit you.

 

How do I pay for my goods?

Your goods are pre-paid via the Ringtons Your Way website on the day the order is placed and then  on a fortnightly basis thereafter.  A valid credit or debit card is needed to set up your account. 

You can add items to your (virtual) basket, pause deliveries or even cancel your deliveries via your online account.  Customers who opt for a traditional doorstep delivery can purchase or view additional products from the basket when their delivery is made. 

Drop off customers can also make additional purchases from the basket/van if they catch the ‘Ringtons man’.

 

How do I view, change, skip or cancel my order or change my personal details?

To make any changes to your order, view the status of your deliveries, update personal details or change payment information, simply log-on to your online account here.

 

Can I set up Ringtons Your Way as a gift?

Yes, who wouldn’t love a fortnightly delivery of tea, coffee and biscuits?  As long as your recipient lives within the Washington (NE37 and NE38) area you can set up a delivery on their behalf via the Ringtons Your Way website.

We’d recommend checking your recipient’s preferred delivery method with them to make sure it’s the most convenient option for them.

 

How do I make a return?

Please contact us via emailing yourway@ringtons.co.uk with your order ID number and full delivery address as well as the reason for your return. We will then organise to collect your delivery. Please note we cannot refund any product that has been opened

Is your packaging recyclable?

As a long-standing company we are committed to running our business sustainably and we understand the growing concern about the recyclability of the packaging used in products as a whole. 

At present the overwrap and foils we use in our products such as teas, coffee and biscuits contain plastic which are recyclable where facilities are available, although such facilities are limited.  As a business we are continuously looking for, researching and trialling alternative, more sustainable packaging, but the market is still very limited. 

All the packaging we use serves an important purpose - protecting the quality and condition of the product within.  We are committed to doing the right thing and we have a dedicated, focused team constantly looking at ways to reduce packaging and waste, improve our sustainability and minimise our impact on our precious environment.

 

What are the terms and conditions of your promotional offer?

To apply the discount of £10 off your first order enter your discount code at the online checkout. The £10 offer allows the customer to enjoy £10 worth of Ringtons teas, coffees, biscuits and more for FREE when you sign up to the new Ringtons Your Way service. The customer can choose any products under this offer. The offer is available to residents in Washington only and only available to new customers. Offer is subject to one offer per household. A valid credit or debit card is required to set up your account. Accounts can be changed, skipped or cancelled at any stage. The offer is not available on any other services operated by Ringtons. Ringtons reserves the right to suspend or cancel the order or promotion at any stage, if any payment is taken a full refund will be raised.
